: -- Easter Dinner -- :

well after running around most of the day looking at flea markets for a 'skil saw' for my husband , and taking a long walk....we thought it would be fun to go out to dinner, so we drove a bit of a ways to our favorite sushi place ....where the owner is this really outgoing sweet woman who loves to talk to us and gave us all these nice gifts around the holidays......and it was closed , we thought for sure it would be open. So then we tried another spot, a Vietnamese place , and it was closed....
So then we headed over to our regular spot ...the local indian restraunt where it's a family run place and SUPER good food. they play Bollywood videos on a big screen the whole time and there is free chai with dinner and free refills ! So we get pretty giddy after 4 cups of chai and bollywood spinning in our heads.
It was a wonderful Easter feast ....

:: Purples and blues of Spring ::

A sunflower bud from my garden... the leaves are so purple its crazy
A Comfrey(Symphytum officinale) flower from my garden...spiraling out, I love the shape of the cymes how it spirals out...a wonderful healing plant has healed many wounds for myself and family....
Borage flowers growing at a local garden in Sebastopol. They were really glowing in the afternoon light.
Same family as the Comfrey( Boraginacea ) and also spirals out .....The flowers sort of taste like fresh cucumber to me...always have to eat one.."borage for courage".

:: Spring in Pink ::

quince blossoms.....there are a lot of quince blooming brilliant salmon pink/red. The bushes just glow even when it's cloudy.

Eucalyptus flowers !!!! I was so thrilled to find these the other day, there are so many shapes and varieties to these lovelies, these ones are pretty small and the most vibrant pink.
Cherry blossoms !!! spring is really here :)
